Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Triangle Waterworks collects when you use trianglewaterworks.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email service@trianglewaterworks.com or call (919) 646-4125.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a water analysis, quote, or service, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address or ZIP code, and any details you choose to share about your water (test results, odors, staining, and similar notes).
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. We use Google Analytics for this. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Consent records. If you agree to be contacted by text or phone, we record that you did so, along with the date, time, and the page where you gave consent. We keep this so we can show that your consent was properly obtained.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare a recommendation, and schedule a water test, consultation, or installation.
- To contact you by phone, text message, and email about your inquiry, appointments, and service.
- To send you marketing and promotional messages about our water treatment services, if you have consented to receive them.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and services, and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
Text messages and phone calls
If you provide your phone number and agree to be contacted, Triangle Waterworks may send you text messages and place phone calls to that number, including marketing and promotional messages. These calls may be automated or pre-recorded and may use an artificial or AI-generated voice, and texts may be sent using an automated system.
- Consent to receive marketing texts or calls is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any text message, tell the caller to remove you, or email service@trianglewaterworks.com. Reply HELP to any text for help. We honor opt-out requests promptly and will not contact you again for marketing purposes.
When we share information
We share your information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run our business — our customer relationship management platform, phone and messaging providers, scheduling tools, website analytics, and payment processing — may handle your information solely to provide those services to us.
- Installation and service partners. The licensed plumbing contractors and technicians who perform your water test, installation, or service receive the information needed to do that work.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Triangle Waterworks, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfer. If Triangle Waterworks is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site function and analytics. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Data retention and security
We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you, support your warranty and service history, and meet legal and recordkeeping requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Texts and calls: opt out at any time as described above.
- Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email service@trianglewaterworks.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep certain records to meet legal, warranty, or accounting obligations.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
